Cairo Festival City Hosts 5K Marathon in Celebration of CairoRunners’ 10th Anniversary
Cairo – December 18th, 2022 – Cairo Festival City (CFC), an affiliate of Egypt’s leading real estate developer Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE), hosted ‘CairoRunners’ marathon to celebrate their 10th anniversary at CFC’s iconic destination, Podium Plaza.
The celebration comes in-line with AFGRE’s commitment to continuously dedicate its endeavors to promoting sports and public health to ensure the well-being of its community. Moreover, as a result of the successful previous event, CairoRunners were keen to celebrate this significant milestone at Cairo Festival City in order to ensure a fresh atmosphere, filled with festive music and pleasant scenery for more than 2000 runners that took part in the 5K marathon.

“كايرو فستيفال سيتي” تستضيف ماراثون رياضي احتفالًا بمرور 10 سنوات على تأسيس “CairoRunners”
القاهرة: 18 ديسمبر 2022 – استضافت “كايرو فستيفال سيتي”، التابعة ل”مجموعة الفطيم العقارية”، فعاليات الماراثون الرياضي الخاص باحتفال”CairoRunners” بمناسبة مرور 10 سنوات على تأسيسه ووجوده بمصر، واستغرق الماراثون نحو 4 ساعات ، تنافس خلاله 3000 متسابق على الجري لمسافة 5 كيلو مترات بدأت من “بوديوم بلازا”، الوجهة الأيقونية الأحدث لكايرو فستيفال سيتي، وتضمنت فعاليات ترفيهية وأجواء ممتعة تخللها فقرات احتفالية و DJ موسيقي أعدت خصيصًا للاحتفال بهذا اليوم المميز.
وتأتي الاحتفالية في إطار اهتمامات واستراتيجية “مجموعة الفطيم العقارية” بالمسؤولية المجتمعية، لا سيما المتعلقة منها بالرياضة والصحة العامة، والعمل على توظيف إمكاناتها على الدوام في هذا الاتجاه، كما أن الاحتفالية جاءت بعد نجاح الفعالية السابقة التي نظمتها بالتعاون مع “CairoRunners” ومؤسسة مجدي يعقوب ، وهو الأمر الذي جعل “CairoRunners”يحرص على الاحتفال بمرور 10 سنوات على تأسيسه بين جنبات “كايرو فستيفال سيتي” .
