ExxonMobil Secures Exploration Acreage Offshore Egypt
CAIRO, Egypt – ExxonMobil said today it has secured exploration rights to two blocks, Masry and Cairo, offshore Egypt. The blocks are located in the outer Nile Delta and cover more than 11,000 square kilometers. The awards are subject to governmental approval of the concession agreements covering the blocks, and their signature in due course.
ExxonMobil Egypt (Upstream) Limited will operate both blocks and hold 100% interest. Exploration activities are scheduled to begin in 2023, subject to signature of the concession agreements.

إكسون موبيل تحصل على حقوق البحث والتنقيب في البحر المتوسط بجمهورية مصر العربية
القاهرة، مصر – أعلنت شركة إكسون موبيل عن حصولها على حقوق التنقيب في منطقتين قبالة السواحل المصرية وهما منطقة مصري و منطقة القاهرة، واللتين تقعان في مناطق بحرية مصرية في الإطار الخارجي لدلتا النيل ويغطيان مساحة تبلغ أكثر من 11،000 كيلومتر مربع. وتخضع حقوق التنقيب لموافقة الحكومة على اتفاقيات الامتياز، الواقع تحتها المنطقتين، وتوقيعها في الوقت المناسب.
ومن المقرر أن تقوم شركة إكسون موبيل إيجيبت “أبستريم” ليمتد، والتي تمتلك حصة تبلغ نسبتها 100٪، بتشغيل كلتا المنطقين، على أن تبدأ أنشطة الاستكشاف في عام 2023، وذلك عقب توقيع اتفاقيات الامتياز.
